This past weekend, Adam and Griffin met with Dr. Rohde at Afternoon restaurant in Gainesville for brunch and project updates. Fly Bye received an insect tent for testing in our infrared-based system, as well as new cameras for the image-based system. Fly Bye has been working this week to optimize the imaging system while also making progress on the PCB for the infrared system. The main event for IPPD this week was the Qualification Review Board. Fly Bye presented their project progress and prototype updates this week to a panel of faculty coaches during the IPPD QRB 1 event. The team received useful feedback regarding the progress of the project and how the presentation was structured regarding separating the two projects. Overall, this week was exciting for IPPD-related work and project progress!
