Monster Gator – SP23 Week 16

Team Monster Gator with the Grave Digger Ride Truck they have been working on the last year.

This past week, Monster Gator brought its IPPD experience to a close with a successful Final Design Review. The group presented their final presentation to their liaisons and delivered the completed final project to the liaisons as well. Additionally, the group successfully coordinated bringing the Monster Jam Ride Truck to campus. The truck was stationed outside the Reitz Union for people to come and see the group’s project first hand. This was a great success not only for Monster Gator, but also for Feld to bolster their presence among the students at UF. Overall, FDR was a huge success for Monster Gator. The team is super thankful and appreciative to Feld Entertainment, our liaisons, our coach, and the IPPD staff for this AMAZING experience and for all the great memories and fun times, we had. The team will forever be grateful for this unique opportunity!

Monster Gator SP23 Week 15

With the semester wrapping up, team Monster Gator spent this past week putting on the finishing touches to the Final Design Review presentation. The team also gave a mock presentation at the Peer-Reviewed FDR, which went successfully as we were able to clearly present our objectives and solutions, as well as answer any questions that were unanswered from our initial presentation.

Additionally, the team spent the majority of the rest of the week finishing important documentation for the final deliverables that will be sent to Feld. The 5 volumes of information cover all of the work that was completed throughout the year. This will greatly aid in the transition of the project from the team to the sponsor.

Lastly, the team spent all of Thursday compiling and organizing any materials that will be turned over to Feld, in order to make sure that they receive every component if the system and that nothing is misplaced.
