Dr. Abd-Elrahman is a professor in the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences faculty and the Geomatics program adviser in the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center (Plant City). His research interests include remote sensing and geospatial analysis applications in precision agriculture and natural resource management.

Philip Jackson

Her research interests include wireless networks and Internet of Things applications. Currently, her research creates frameworks for integrating IoT with 5G and 6G cellular systems.

Dr. Persad previously held the position of Associate Professor and Head of Department of the Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Entrepreneurship (MME) Department at The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), West Indies.

Cheryl Resch

Dr. Resch is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Engineering Education at the University of Florida. Her research interests include cybersecurity education and NLP in education research. Before joining UF as a lecturer, Resch spent 29 years at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory where she performed research in secure computing and cybersecurity architecture.

Dr. Silva is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. She specializes in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, personalized learning, workforce development, and experiential education.

Kimberly Stubbs

Dr. Stubbs is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Education at the University of Florida. She teaches and supervises undergraduate students as they develop new skills in the MATLAB coding environment using an experiential learning-based flipped course format.

Sanethia Thomas

Dr. Thomas is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. Her research interests include human-centered computing, educational technologies, and athlete development. She was honored as the International Educator of the Year for 2024 and received the AI Educator of the Year award for the 2023-2024 academic year. Fun fact: Dr. Thomas represented the United States in basketball competitions held in Amsterdam, Belgium, and Paris!
