QRB 2

Hello everyone!

We’ve got a lot of updates for you this week: along with a successful presentation for QRB 2, the team has also had a lot of user testing completed! During the QRB 2 event, the team updated the coaches our current status and progress with testing, as well as specifics regarding our test specifications and how we plan to move forward. We were able to receive a lot of useful and valuable feedback, as well as criticisms and questions that can help us to improve and tweak our current approaches.

Regarding our user testing with blind or visually impaired students at UF, the team was able to truly gain a lot of information and comments about our demo, such as any complaints about the controls, instructions, and even the immersiveness of the application. Many of the students provided very helpful insight in helping improve our project and as a result the team was able to learn a lot from them. We hope to continue to improve our demo application, and using all of the information we have gathered thus far, combine these mechanics and features into our package so that other developers will be able to create accessible applications as well.
