Hello and welcome back!

This week, Team Wayfinder has some exciting, new updates to share. With a 3-hour work session in replacement of our normal class session on Tuesday, the team was very productive and was able to get a lot done. Splitting half of our team to work on package development and the other half on refining the demo application, we were able to accomplish many tasks. For the demo, the team worked mainly on testing, cleaning up some code and fixing bugs. The next steps that we want to focus on for the demo is reaching out to users for testing, so we are looking forward to that soon.

For the package, development is nearly complete – the team is now focusing on testing in a separate environment in Unity to ensure that it can be imported and integrated in other apps successfully. Additionally, a major update for the package is that with the use of UI Accessibility Plugin (UAP), we were able to replace our paid TTS system with an accessibility wrapper that could be added into our package and exported into another Unity application.
