Last Saturday our team attended the Lean Six Sigma team building workshop hosted by our sponsor, FPL. We learned how to reduce waste by streamlining processes and improving quality through problem solving. It was a lot of fun to practice by running and improving our own pretend car dealership. Now we are certified white belts in Lean Six Sigma.

During the week we drafted our first month design report. This included our project roadmap, risk table, and technical performance measures (TPMs). We continued our research on the drone which FPL currently uses, RFID reader technologies, and techniques for asset management.

Next week we will be preparing for our preliminary design report by giving a practice presentation to our class and receiving feedback.
