Alex Good

Alex Good is a 4th year student studying computer science at the University of Florida. Alex is expecting to graduate in May 2023. Throughout his time spent at the university, he has taken many technical courses including data structures and algorithms, computer networking, and software engineering, and has developed multiple skills such as web development, database management, and game development. He has also found an interest in computer networking and hopes to pursue a career in the field either as a network engineer or a backend developer. Alex chose this project due to its relation to computer networking and backend system management and hopes to gain a great deal of experience for his future.

Outside of school and career planning, Alex also enjoys biking and exercise, sci-fi and fantasy novels, and video games. He is also minoring in Digital Arts and Sciences and hopes to apply this knowledge to his passion for making games either as a hobby or future career option.

Hunter Lawson

Hunter Lawson is a 4th year computer science major with a minor in mathematics at the University of Florida. He is expecting to graduate in May 2023 and has an interest in databases, backend systems, and cloud technology. Throughout his time at UF, Hunter has taken courses and worked on projects that have given him experience in many different aspects of software engineering. He has experience in front-end development, server-side development, and back-end systems, as well as several programming languages and operating systems.

In 2022, Hunter interned at Northrop Grumman where he developed internal account management web applications for Northrop Grumman researchers. He gained experience working with backend database systems and developing secure front-end code. In 2023, he interned at Deloitte where he developed a back-end server API for a client web portal. There he gained experience in project leadership and systems design. In both of his internship experiences, Hunter worked and developed in collaborative environments, which gave him valuable teamwork skills.

Hunter is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. When he’s not programming or studying, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and listening to music.

Faizan Mohammad

Faizan Mohammad is a 4th year computer science major with an economics minor at the University of Florida. Faizan will graduate from the University of Florida in May 2023 in hopes of pursuing a career as a software engineer. During his time at the University, Faizan has taken a wide array of courses that have covered content that has helped push him towards his passion for software development, including data structures, databases, software security, and programming fundamentals. In addition to these engineering-oriented classes, he chose to pursue an economics minor to better understand how corporations and their finances operate, and how to adjust projects to be financially feasible.

Through his experiences at UF though the computer science department, Faizan has gained a passion for software development and cybersecurity. He hopes to continue on the path of improving his programming skills in his final two semesters at UF. When he is not working on academic or career obligations, he enjoys working on cars, collecting and playing video games, and longboarding.

Eric Szoke

Eric Szoke is a 4th year student at the University of Florida majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Environmental Science. He chose the Environmental Science minor with the goal of learning about how software engineering can be applied to develop sustainable energy sources. In the summer of 2022, Eric interned as a Software Engineer at Satcom Direct, a company which specializes in private aircraft connectivity. Through class projects, coding competitions, and work experience, Eric has developed numerous full-stack mobile and web applications and is interested in learning more about machine learning and computer graphics in his senior year. Eric has also competed in several Hackathons at Georgia Tech and the University of Florida, where he practices and applies his programming skills.

Eric chose to work on this project to expand his knowledge and skill in working with and integrating large databases into applications, which is an important skill for his future career in software engineering.
