This week the CaffeGators presented their progress to 8 IPPD judges. The CaffeGators had an espresso machine at their table, two 3D printed prototypes, and an AR demonstration. We provided judges with freshly made espresso and showed off our physical tamping tools. The AR application displayed a virtual espresso machine that allowed users to click on various parts of the machine and learn more about the machine part. The two prototypes we printed showed our design progression of a handheld tool to a machine integrated tool. Overall, the team received great feedback on our designs and project progression. We cannot wait to start working on our SLDR and continue our progress.
