Here are some of the highlights from the past week:

• Guest speaker about implicit bias
• Preparation for QRB 2

This week in class we had a presentation from Dr. Elliot Douglas who is a professor and undergraduate coordinator in environmental engineering sciences and engineering education. He presented on implicit bias and how it appears in the work place. He explained what implicit bias is and what to do to mitigate its effects. Overall, it was a beneficial experience for everyone on the team.

We are also working this week on preparing for QRB 2. The purpose of this QRB is to go over what our plans are for testing. We have some open questions as a team that we want to get feedback from the judges on. The team is still on track and we look forward to getting valuable feedback.
