This week marks the start of the second semester of IPPD and the beginning of the second phase of our project!

Last semester our focus was on closely following the principles of engineering design in order to develop a solution for the problem Fanatics presented to us. This culminated in the creation of a prototype, that will serve as a baseline for our future work. This semester our focus will be on implementation — and we hope to present a working product for Fanatics in April!

This week we also had a presentation from Professor McElroy (pictured above) about professional credibility in an engineering work environment. We learned about the importance of maintaining credibility, as well as what to do if you lose it.
