Yesterday was Prototype Inspection Day at UF. We presented our overall design and current progress to four groups of judges. We received lots of positive feedback and suggestions from the judges and our peers and will ensure we consider that throughout the next phase of our design.
The remainder of our semester will be focused on our System Level Design Review. This will be a follow up to the PDR, detailing more specifics of our plan for the Spring semester.
Our demo, pictured below, consisted of a bucket of water (our patient), a container (our canister), and a pump. The pump generates suction in the container, which then pulls water from the bucket to the container. In addition, we presented our pressure sensor and basic user interface to show the real-time suction in the container.
