Week 13: PID time!

This week- we had a great Spring PID for Team 3Delish. Ian and Lucas were definitely happy about it (see below)! Thank you to all of the amazing judges for the feedback, we are excited to implement them and finish out the project strong.

Much printing progress has been made in lab. We are continuing testing with different materials, along with different additives included as well. The no-bake carrot cake bar dough base (made by Lucas) has been printing well in lab!

We are also excited that our product now looks very close to our CAD- thanks to some helpful 80/20 brackets and fasteners! Brittney & Caylynne have been leading efforts on the extrusion module, while Ian has been working greatly on the printhead and nozzle design. Our last few weeks will be focused on minimizing any food backflow, optimizing the G-code printing parameters, implementing heating elements, and finalizing food recipes & manuals.

Last but not least, quick shoutout to Team Surgigauge for gifting us a carrot for recipe testing! Lucas is very excited to make more carrot puree for the team. Thanks Surgigauge!
