Meet Team Stratagem

Matthew Davis

4th Year Computer Science

Matthew Davis is a Senior Computer Science Student at the University of Florida with a minor in Engineering Innovation. He was a Software Engineering Intern with Publix Technology over Summer 2025, working with the Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance Support Team. He is interested in embedded systems, having taken Embedded Systems with Dr. Mishra and Digital Logic with Dr. Schwartz, and is also interested in software engineering.


Yuri Gelli

4th Year Computer Science

Yuri Ebert Gelli is a Computer Science BS/MS student at the University of Florida with a 3.7 GPA, a minor in Electrical Engineering, and certificates in AI and Engineering Innovation. He has experience in software engineering, data science, and consulting, including modernizing reporting systems at Fortune 100 company World Kinect, automating business processes through GEL Consulting, and improving medical data integrity at the Norman Fixel Institute. His past work with NASA and the U.S. Space Force produced launch analysis tools used by SpaceX, and he is developing GellDesk, a customizable CRM for SMBs. Bilingual in English and Portuguese with technical expertise across C++, C#, Python, SQL, and React, he combines strong leadership with a passion for advancing technology solutions that support business, research, and global challenges.


Rachel McCallum

4th Year Computer Science

Rachel is a 4th Year Computer Science and Music Double Major at the University of Florida. She is currently an Undergraduate Researcher in UF’s CATIA Lab, where she is working on incorporating Real-Time AI with interactive 3D models for education in physiology. Previously, she played a strong role as a frontend mobile developer for UF WiCSE’s design teams.


Thomas Weber

5th Year Industrial and Systems Engineering

Thomas is a senior studying Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida with a focus on production and logistics. His expertise spans project management, Lean and Six Sigma methodology, production and logistics, consulting, continuous improvement, AI, statistics, and system modeling and simulation. He has applied these skills in roles that span technical projects and hands-on problem solving, including optimizing warehouse operations working at Ben E. Keith and leading the UF Student Government Bike Shop.


Caleigh Zaguirre

4th Year Computer Science

Caleigh Zaguirre is a 4th year Computer Science student at the University of Florida, currently pursuing both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees through UF’s combined degree program. She works at UF’s IT Department, where she develops accessible content in Canvas to support inclusive learning and improve student outcomes. This past summer, Caleigh served as a Software Development Intern at Southern Company, contributing to internal scheduling tools that streamlined workflows and enhanced user experience.


William Zhu

4th Year Computer Science

William Zhu is a 4th Year student at the University of Florida, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Digital Arts and Sciences. Currently he is a Project Lead at the Machine Intelligence Laboratory, UF’s largest robotics lab, where he maintains and expands the lab’s growing software infrastructure. During his most recent summer, he interned at Cultra, an Agricultural AI Startup based in Chattanooga.
