Another productive week is complete and the CHAMPS are ready for Final Design Review (FDR) next Tuesday. After the peer review session on April 16, the team avidly updated project deliverables to prepare for the last round of feedback from the Verifone liaisons and Ronnie. Recommendations included reorganizing the presentation for improved clarity, using less technical jargon, and implementing a future work slide. The CHAMPS also encountered technical difficulties while showcasing the user interface simulation. However, to avoid this downtime on Final Design Review day, the team will record a demonstration video and explain the procedure during the presentation. On Thursday, the team excitedly discussed these weekly updates with Darryl Miller and Brian Russell—both of whom will be joining the CHAMPS in Gainesville for FDR. The next blog will cover FDR performance to wrap up the wonderful journey of teamwork throughout this 2023-2024 IPPD program.
