As we wrap up our first stage of the design cycle, we need to summarize and exhibit our work to our sponsor, FPL. Therefore, we spent this last week finalizing our PDR (Preliminary Design Review) Report and Presentation. We endeavored to make the report detailed (it totaled around 40 pages in length); however, we wanted to create a presentation that was effective and concise. Afterwards, we participated in the PDR Peer Review event, with our peers in the Solar Safe and Parrotronix teams. In this event, the three teams presented to each other, and each team recieved constructive feedback. This provided an important opportunity to make improvements before the high-stakes presentation in front of the sponsors; after all, iron sharpens iron. We are very grateful for the feedback Solar Safe and Parrotronix provided us. Stay tuned next week to hear how our FPL visit and presentation go.
