With absolutely nothing at all happening in the rest of the country, team Macro Mice spent the week hard at work\u00a0on both the digital and physical fronts of the project. For the\u00a0behavioral\u00a0unit, Daniel has made great progress in finalizing the designs for the first iteration of the\u00a0prototype.\u00a0After touching base with\u00a0the IPPD lab manager, the team is now ready\u00a0to begin manufacturing components and has\u00a0begun\u00a0sending 3D printing requests to the lab.\u00a0Beginning next\u00a0week,\u00a0we will begin assembling the first full iteration of the project!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the software side of the project, we\u2019ve run into a problem where the course\u2019s main source of version control Gitlab, is continuously giving us problems with logging in. We have temporarily created a\u00a0GitHub repository and plan to work there for the time\u00a0being, until\u00a0GitLab stops giving us\u00a0issues. We plan on integrating both cameras and infrared sensors\u00a0into our design, and we will\u00a0continue\u00a0to refine our image processing software accordingly with these new additions.\u00a0We will then begin testing our software with the images provided by our\u00a0liaison.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
