This week marks a significant leap forward as we successfully transitioned our local development into a fully deployed cloud environment. We leveraged a robust AWS stack\u2014utilizing S3, ECR, SageMaker AI, Lambda, and API Gateway\u2014to host our ensemble model, providing a scalable and high-performance backbone for our fraud detection system. Simultaneously, we enhanced the user experience by implementing reactive map logic; the anomaly list and visualization now dynamically update in real-time as the user zooms and pans, ensuring that the most relevant data is always front and center.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead to next week, we are preparing for a high-level architectural review with cloud engineers at Verifone. This collaboration between our Preprocessor, Middleware, and ML teams will be instrumental in aligning our solution with Verifone\u2019s existing infrastructure and finalizing the end-to-end component connections. We will also continue to iterate on our model’s precision using Optuna for advanced hyperparameter tuning and remain focused on incorporating real-world fraud scenarios from our liaison to ensure our system is battle-tested for the industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
