
Cesar Brasileiro de Alencar
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Minor: Computer Science
Cesar is an international student from Brazil; he is in his senior year at the University of Florida. Cesar has been part of a PhD-level research lab that aimed to increase cyclist safety while cycling on the road by developing a device that alerts both cyclists and car drivers whenever a cyclist is in proximity to the driver. This research has been recently published, and now Cesar has taken his talents to the Gator TPED club, helping the motion simulation team. Cesar is passionate about the application of engineering in the entertainment industry, including the development of theme park attractions, set engineering and design, concert engineering, and other related fields.
Fun Fact: Cesar has watched over 1200 movies!

David Castillo
Major: Electrical Engineering
David enjoys embedded systems, as well as analog and digital circuit design. He gained professional experience as an Aero Electronics Electrical Engineering Intern at Woodward, where he worked on electronic engine controllers for aerospace applications. On campus, he served for two years as a program coordinator and lead mentor for STEPUP, a summer bridge program that supports first-year engineering students through academic preparation, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. He is also a published researcher, co-authoring A Review of Possible Solutions to Mitigate the Abundance of Space Debris, which was recognized in Inderscience’s “Research Picks of 2023.” Beyond academics, David is active with UF’s Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) sports teams, having captained multiple intramural soccer teams.
Fun Fact: David loves to skateboard and is a huge Liverpool FC fan!

Danilo Inestroza
Major: Computer Engineering
Danilo is a 4th year computer engineering student from Tampa, FL, though originally from Las Vegas, NV. He has a poignant interest in embedded systems, computer networks, cybersecurity, app development, and much much more. Although limited in formal experience, Danilo demonstrates his expertise through an array personal projects like designing his own home cloud server with security and reliability at its core.
Fun Fact: Danilo loves exploring word origins and how language evolves.

Antoine Martínez Beau
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Antoine is an international exchange student from Spain, doing his senior year at the University of Florida. He is passionate about machine and vehicle design. In his home university he took part in the BiSKY Team, the university’s student rocketry team, where he had the chance to apply his theoretical knowledge and improve his skills as an engineer in a real project.
Fun Fact: Antoine is Spanish, but he is also French!

Arabella Readey
Major: Biomedical Engineering
Arabella is a 4th year student from St. Petersburg, FL. She has previous experience working with Arthrex as an Orthobiologics/Vet Engineering Co-op and as a Research and Development Engineering Intern for Cook Medical’s endoscopy division. At UF, she is involved in diabetes research with the Dr. Phelps lab and two design teams through Dream Team Engineering. Arabella is passionate about medical device design and mentoring younger undergraduate students.
Fun Fact: Arabella has lived in 7 different cities.

Hanson Tang
Major: Electrical Engineering
Hanson is in his senior year of electrical engineering program at the University of Florida. While he hasn’t had formal industry experience yet, he actively applies engineering principles to a wide range of hands-on personal projects such as a personal air filter for his room and an air filter for solder fumes.
Fun Fact: Born to be a night owl, forced to be an early bird.
