Stefano Candiani

I’m Stefano Candiani! I am currently in my fourth year studying Computer Science with a minor in Astronomy. I perform research at the IMPS astrobiology lab and I am the president of the Brazilian-Portuguese club on campus. I have some experience with Machine Learning Engineering through classes and have developed a simple image recognition Convolutional Neural Network as part of a class project. I’m excited to work with MRSL in this amazing project!

Addison Ferrell

I’m Addison Ferrell, a fourth-year Computer Science major with a Math minor. I’ve worked on projects involving machine learning, transfer learning, and data processing pipelines, and I enjoy exploring how these approaches can be applied to real-world problems. Outside of class, I’m a member of UF’s Club Ultimate.

Trevor Gross

Hi all, I’m Trevor Gross, a fourth-year in Computer Science with a minor in German and certificates in AI and Engineering Innovation. I have work experience in machine learning and cloud computing, research in multi-agent optimization, and projects in NLP and computer vision. I am the President of the Florida Engineering Society and a member of Tau Beta Pi. Joining IPPD is a great learning opportunity, and I am eager to make an impact at MRSL!

Ryan Machado

Hello, I’m Ryan Machado, a 4th year Computer Science major with a minor in Engineering Innovation, and a member of the Eta Kappa Nu honors society. I’ve worked in the past as a research assistant (use of AI in education), and I worked this previous summer as a Technology Intern on a Cloud FinOps team, designing and implementing automations that impacted several AWS accounts on an enterprise-scale in order to reduce costs by thousands of dollars a month. I’m proficient in Python DSA, a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner, and I am also very interested in learning more about AI/ML. I’m eager to learn from and make meaningful contributions to the MRSL CAPS project!

Tavienne Millner

I’m Tavienne! I’m a fourth year computer science major with a math minor. I interned with MRSL last summer and had an awesome experience! I currently am a WiCSE mentor. I have interests in every step of the AI/ML pipeline and cloud computing.

Jack Wardlaw

Hello, my name is Jack and I am a senior computer engineering student. I’ve completed software engineering internships with JPMorganChase and MRSL over past summers. At UF, I’ve worked as undergraduate peer instructor for Digital Logic and Microprocessor Applications, and as a researcher for the SmartData Lab. I’m interested in signal processing, communications, and AI/ML, so I’m super excited to be working on this project!
