Dhivya Sri Lingala

Dhivya Sri Lingala is a Graduate student in Artificial Intelligence Systems at the University of Florida, where her research focuses on designing intelligent systems that integrate machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. As a Graduate Research Assistant, she is developing a multi-module AI educator platform that leverages large language models and retrieval-augmented generation to deliver adaptive learning in human physiology. She previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with a specialization in Perception and Language Technologies. Her professional experience spans from startups to global corporations, Microsoft, where she co-developed a machine learning–based customer segmentation platform and created dashboards for product insights, and Areksoft Technologies, where she streamlined CRM workflows through APIs and automation pipelines. Beyond academia and industry, she has led impactful projects, including SmartFin AI, a bilingual gold loan management solution with predictive analytics, and Emowise, an AI-powered emotional intelligence system supporting over 5,000 daily interactions.

Zhiyu Wang

Zhiyu’s is a 4th-year PhD student with a major in Computational Chemistry and a 2nd-year master’s student in AI system.  Zhiyu’s research focuses on AI4Chemistry using machine learning and quantum mechanics calculations to explore the vast space in materials that serve for energy conversion and catalytic reactions.Outside the office, Zhiyu is a passionate tennis player with a UTR rating of 4.8. Zhiyu is also a dog lover and has a 2-year-old dapple mini dachshund with her.

Swetha Gendlur Nagarajan

Swetha is a master’s student in Applied Data Science who is currently working on AI-driven digital twins, models that help teams understand and predict how complex semiconductor systems behave in the real world. Her work focuses on making these systems easier to analyze, test, and improve by blending data, physics, and intuitive problem-solving.

She enjoys collaborating with engineers and researchers, translating technical ideas into clear insights, and contributing to projects that support next-generation technology development.

Outside of work, Swetha loves creative projects, meaningful conversations, and finding new ways to stay inspired during her busy schedule.

Narasinga Sai Satwik Tenneti

Narasinga Sai Satwik Tenneti is a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence Systems at the University of Florida, specializing in AI-driven software development, predictive modeling. He has experience building scalable AI solutions in facility management, finance, and data analytics, complemented by leadership roles.

Jugal Ganesh Boddu

Jugal Boddu is currently pursuing his Master’s in AI Systems at the University of Florida where he is also a grader for the Machine Learning in AI Systems. In the said position, he oversees the assignments of the students by focusing on the aspects of fairness and consistency. During this, he keeps tabs on key topics like supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and model performance. His work experience as a Data Analyst intern at MOVIDU, shows his responsiblilty towards developing predictive models for flood forecasting and creating Power BI dashboards that helps to take key decisions for stakeholders, and an Android Development internship at Quin Design, where he was actively involved in performance and user experience enhancement of the key applications of the company. Jugal has also been a leader for projects like REACH, an AI-based object detection system that reduced error rates.

Nikhitha Nagalla

Nikhitha Nagalla is a graduate student in Applied Data Science at the University of Florida and a Graduate Student Assistant with the UF Counseling and Wellness Center, where she cleans and analyzes complex datasets and builds Power BI/Tableau dashboards to inform student well-being programs. Previously a Data Science Research Intern at Shaish Info Solutions, she developed and tuned machine-learning models and automated preprocessing pipelines. Her toolkit spans Python, R, and SQL with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, and her projects include an AI climate/disaster-risk recommender, retinal disease detection, and multilingual NLP chatbots. Nikhitha has five IEEE publications and a Best Paper award for the project “Cartoonization Using Python,”.
