He is involved with neurotechnology research associated with the UF BME department and the Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases. His research focuses on electrodes and biophysics, designing and testing electrode tissue interfaces and biosignal sensors by utilizing signal processing and embedded hardware. He helps run IEEE-EMBS, leading technical EE workshops on medical devices.
