
Albert Li
Major: Biomedical Engineering
Minor: Computer Science
Albert Li is a 4th-year student with extensive research experience, currently working as an undergraduate research assistant in the Padilla-Coreano Lab, where he leads a project exploring dopamine dynamics in mice. Albert also interned at Johnson & Johnson Vision, where he developed a method to assess the physical properties of contact lens polymers and streamlined permeation testing processes.
Fun fact: Albert was named after UF’s mascot 🐊!

Arjun Singh
Arjun Singh is a senior transfer student at the University of Florida, pursuing dual degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics and minoring in Physics. He is actively engaged in research projects with the Nino Research Group focusing on artificial intelligence and its real world applications, such as applying generative machine learning to create synthetic brain networks and using convolutional neural networks to characterize spinodal microstructures. Arjun is passionate about utilizing artificial intelligence for humanity’s benefit.

Rafid Chowdhury
Major: Computer Science
Minor: Economics
Rafid Chowdhury is a senior Computer Science student at the University of Florida with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. He recently gained valuable Software Engineering experience through a study abroad internship in Ghana, where he supported NGOs with various software solutions. In addition, Rafid serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Information and Database Systems 1 course at UF.
Fun fact: Rafid is a huge Manchester City fan!

Estefania Rodriguez Da Silva
Major: Computer Science
Minor: Digital Arts and Sciences
Estefania is a 4th-year Computer Science student at the University of Florida with a keen interest in the fusion of technology and creativity, and a passion for exploring the intersection of design and technology. She recently gained valuable Software Engineering experience through a Software Development Engineer Internship with Amazon, where she worked in the STORES department as a full stack developer. Within UF, Estefania has previously worked as a Research Assistant within the Machine Learning and Sensing Laboratory and currently serves as President of the Venezuelan Student Association.
Fun fact: Estefania loves to build Legos and has started an entire collection!

Tuan Truong
Major: Computer Science
Minor: Mathematics
Tuan is a senior at the University of Florida, specializing in Machine Learning. With a strong focus on applying data-driven solutions to real-world challenges, he has gained hands-on experience as a Research Assistant at the Department of Epidemiology. His work involves analyzing complex datasets and developing predictive models. Tuan is passionate about the intersection of machine learning and health sciences, constantly exploring innovative approaches to advance research and practical applications in the field.
