This week, Solaris has discussed with our engineering liaison on whats to come next for Cloud integration, and due to popular demand by Parchment users, Google Drive is the highest requested! Solaris has begun experimenting with the Google Drive API and have begun setting up the right Google Projects and leveraging the needed endpoints to see what will provide the greatest functionality to Parchment. Solaris has also been working on a sample UI for how the content is to be presented on Parchment. Once all the necessary API endpoints are functional, one of the greatest challenges (if not one of, then the greatest challenge) will be integrating this separate functionality into Parchment directly. This will require a good amount of infrastructure change to adapt this into Parchment, and Solaris is looking forward to the challenge!
