Hi all!
This week Solaris made great progress on their tasks. The backend-team is closer than ever to completing the restructuring of the backend of Parchment, and the completion of this task is growing in importance as its completion will allow other teams in Parchment to significantly their own tasks. Furthermore, the front-end team, tasked with 2 Trello cards, are very close to finishing one of them, which revolves around how elements are rendered to users on the client-side of Parchment, which will significantly improve the user experience in Parchment.
Furthermore, outside of direct work on Parchment, Solaris has been diligently working on ideas for how to present the prototype for next week. After some brainstorming, Solaris has come up with an interactive way for the audience of the prototype to get some hands-on experience with the work done so far. The idea won’t be spoiled, so you’ll have to attend to see it!
Outside of extracurriculars and academic projects/exams blockers, Solaris has been able to make some incremental improvements over its previous work, so we’re excited to continue this momentum.
Below is a photo of Solaris during class this week!
