This week, Fly Bye presented its progress in project development through the System Level Design Review \u2013 Peer Review (SLDR-PR) event. In this event, Fly Bye performed a 15-minute presentation discussing aspects of the project including problem statement, project significance, proposed solutions, prototype development, product design specifications, and project plans. Updates were made to existing PowerPoint slides and new slides were added to further clarify project details. Additionally, Fly Bye met with their liaison Dr. Rohde to discuss prototype development and travel plans for the winter break. Fly Bye intends to visit the USDA-ARS station to perform testing on prototypes with live fruit flies.
