The team got together after class and started brewing our first cups of espresso, which didn&#8217;t really tasted good. Despite that, we&#8217;re all aiming to be experts in espresso making by the end of this project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started changing different input variables such as grain size, dose, and puck level, to test how they would influence on the espresso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team also made a tour around the laboratories within the Herbert Wertheim Laboratory, where a lot of testing and prototyping will be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, in order to get more acquainted with the art of espresso making, the team visited a local coffee shop to watch and learn from their baristas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After hurricane Ian, we finally had time to test our brand new espresso machine received from our sponsors!
