She is currently the President of Theme Park Engineering &amp; Design club (TPED), in which she coordinates the officers to host design teams, professional general body meetings, tours, and guest speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">This past summer, she was an intern with Universal Orlando Resort for Project Administration. Her team focused on ride refurbishments, which gave her experience with project documentation, vendor communication, and the engineering mechanisms of attractions. The internship was a dream come true \u2013 Growing up in Palm Coast, Florida, it was the highlight of her weekends to visit the theme parks with friends and family. In May 2023, he will graduate with a major in Computer Engineering. Ethan has been an active member in multiple student organizations in his time at UF. He is currently the Administrative Vice President of the Engineering Ambassadors, and he has held multiple other leadership positions within this organization including the service chair and special events chair. He has also served as a teaching assistant for the Honors Professional Development for Engineers course. Ethan is a member of the University Honors Program and has been selected for the Dean&#8217;s List many times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Ethan has held internship positions in the past two summers related to software development. In the summer of 2022, he worked as a software developer intern at AVEVA, a large industrial software company. At AVEVA, Ethan worked on Identity Services for the AVEVA DataHub cloud software suite. In the summer of 2021, Ethan worked at Texas Instruments as a software engineering intern. He worked on an embedded systems team, specifically doing tooling for ZIGBEE low-power communication technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Ethan has gained a wealth of industry experience in software engineering which he is excited to pursue after graduation. He has spent several years developing a broad array of technical skills, including programming and 3D modeling in multiple languages and programs. He sees these skills primarily as a means to assist him in his goals of innovating and problem-solving. Concurrent with focusing on excellent performance in his technical classes, Jacob has dedicated time in his studies to develop his creative strengths through several artistic classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Jacob has had several opportunities to apply these skills to practical use. Independent from the IPPD program, he is currently working with the Cade Museum to design, build, and digitize interactive museum installations. He has worked with such groups as the World Toilet Organization, a globally-reaching Singaporean non-profit organization, and Impact Labs, an Israeli startup designing assistive technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Professionally speaking, Jacob\u2019s primary motives involve doing what he\u2019s best at\u2013ideation and making\u2013to help address human needs and create positive experiences. Jacob is curious about creating meaning in the professional world\u2013he spent a year interviewing professionals and working with editors to create a manuscript about how engineers can find meaning in their work through key virtues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">In non-professional settings, though, Jacob likes to be a tad silly. He enjoys playing drums and percussion and spending time with those he cares about. In May 2023, she will graduate from Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida with a passion to start her professional career in product design and management, applying her leadership skills and hands-on design knowledge gained from her 3 internships, research, classes, and extracurricular involvements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">During the past three summers, she has gained insight and applied herself to the engineering work industry with her 3 internships at GE Aviation, a company known for jet and turboprop engines in both commercial and military sectors. The intern positions she has held are Supplier Quality Engineer, High Pressure Turbine Design Engineer, and Technical Engineering. Caitlin\u2019s Internship experience has given her valuable experience and insight into product design, hardware production, manufacturing process improvement and standard quality regulations. Working with interdisciplinary teams to find cost efficient, manufacturable, producible, and adaptable process\/products while keeping safety and human factors into major consideration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Caitlin is an active director and member for the UF-Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, serving as a past lead marketing director and currently a first-year leader program director. Her roles include team management, event coordination, and team leadership. She is also an outreach director for SciTeens, an educational resource non-profit, combining her love for S.T.E.M, teaching, and giving back to her community. In December 2023, he will graduate with his bachelor\u2019s degree. Aaron has been on the Aerogator design team at UF since fall 2020 and was a team lead from fall 2021 \u2013 spring 2022. On this team, he led the design of the landing gear of a powered parachute. In the fall of 2021, Aaron led his Design and Manufacturing Lab class team. In this class, Aaron and his team designed and manufactured a robot for entry into a competition with their peers. During these leadership duties, Aaron organized and conducted meetings, efficiently delegated tasks, and ensured his teams were on schedule and within budget. Aaron is proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, Java, WordPress software, and LabVIEW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">From spring \u2013 fall 2020, Aaron and a small team designed and built a robot for the international FIRST Robotics Competition. He had multiple duties on this team including mechanical design and programming. In 2019, Aaron studied the basics of biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology as part of the Duke TIP summer studies program. During this program, he led a team of studying engineers in the design of a prosthetic device for a paralytic dog. From 2016 \u2013 2018, he was employed for a web development internship where he interacted directly with clients to design and develop company websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Aaron is passionate about pursuing excellence in every project. He strives for outstanding organization and leadership by effective communication, both in speech and writing.
