Mariana Viso<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mariana Viso is a\u00a0fourth-year\u00a0biomedical engineering (BME) student, who is graduating this spring. After graduation,\u00a0she plans on pursuing a PhD in BME and\u00a0work\u00a0for a medical device manufacturing company in the future.\u00a0She adores doing research and has been working in a biomedical engineering lab at UF (Dr.\u00a0Keselowsky\u2019s\u00a0lab) since freshman year! Over the summer Mariana did research at the Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied the biomechanics of blood vessels (Dr.\u00a0Wagenseil\u2019s\u00a0lab). Mariana enjoys reading comics in her free time\u00a0and is currently reading a horror\/suspense series called: The Nice House on the Lake.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Erynne San Antonio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Erynne San Antonio is a fourth-year biomedical engineering (BME) student.\u00a0Her\u00a0plans after graduation this spring\u00a0are to continue\u00a0her\u00a0education in a PhD program specialized in Neural Engineering.\u00a0Her desire to\u00a0pursue\u00a0a PhD in this field was discovered when she joined The\u00a0Neuroprostheses\u00a0Research Lab (NPR Lab) here at UF\u00a0during the spring of her freshman year.\u00a0This past summer, Erynne\u00a0was\u00a0working\u00a0on writing a\u00a0paper (as a first author!) on the research she has been doing at the NPR lab.\u00a0Her plans are to publish the paper prior to graduation.\u00a0While engineering is Erynne\u2019s end goal, she has also played with the UF orchestra every semester since freshman year!\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ryan Aponte<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ryan Aponte is a fourth-year computer science (CS) student\u00a0with a minor in mathematics. His plans after graduation are to go to graduate school in CS\u00a0to study\u00a0artificial intelligence.\u00a0He researches the origins of language with Dr. Kevin Tang at the Speech, Lexicon, and Modeling Laboratory.\u00a0Ryan enjoys spending time with members of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sumanth Aluri<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sumanth Aluri is a fourth-year computer science student with a minor in electrical engineering.\u00a0After graduation he plans to attend graduate school to further study machine learning.\u00a0Sumanth discovered his passion for\u00a0machine learning as a freshman when he joined\u00a0Dr. Fang\u2019s\u00a0SMILE lab. Since\u00a0then,\u00a0he has worked on several projects pertaining to app development and computer vision.\u00a0Sumanth\u00a0enjoys\u00a0exploring new places\u00a0and\u00a0relaxing with a cup of coffee\u00a0or boba.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
