Important Start Up Information for Fall 2009

Below are links to the 2009-2010 IPPD projects and information on the IPPD Orientation session. It is very important that you attend the Orientation so that you have the widest possible choices in projects. Teams will be formed based upon your input collected during the Orientation session. If you cannot attend, please contact Dr. Stanfill.

  • Orientation for IPPD:
    • Monday, 24 August
    • 4:05 PM to 5:55 PM
    • Reitz Union Rion Ballroom
    • Faculty project mentors will introduce their projects and students will indicate their preferences so teams can be formed
  • First team meeting: Wednesday, 26 August, period 9
  • First regular class meeting: Friday, 28 August, period 9, Weil 270
  • myIPPD - a portal for accessing all the IPPD web resources
Team Assignment and First Meeting

The IPPD Director and faculty members do their best to accomodate each IPPD participant's top project choice. It is inevitable that some students will not get their top choice. There are many interesting projects and we are certain that you will benefit greatly from the assigned project.

No later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, 25 August, you can login to the URL below and learn of your team assignment and the location for your first team meeting (most meetings will be held periods 9 and 10 on Wednesday, 26 August).

If you are having problems logging in or utilizing the system, then click here to send a note. Include the following in your note:

  • your name
  • gatorlink id
  • UF id
  • how you connected to the internet (campus lan, wireless vpn, off-campus vpn, etc.)
  • operating system
  • browser name and version
  • brief description of the problem
  • error messages received (screen shots are helpful)
